Oslo Norway Travel
Oslo Norway Travel is exciting with and has a great deal to offer.
Oslo is the Capital of Norway and the largest city. It is the cultural, scientific, economic and government center of Norway. There are museums, galleries, restaurants, shops and nightlife. The people are friendly and helpful. There is a positive energy to this city which made my vacation to Oslo extremely enjoyable. Note: To find inexpensive vacation ideas for traveling in Europe see:

Here are some of my favorite attractions for Oslo Norway Travel:
Frogner Park (Vigeland Sculpture Park)
This park features the work of the sculptor Gustav Vigeland in bronze and stone. The park is large and fascinating to walk through. You will see the largest display of human life and emotion captured in the stone and bronze.

Frogner Park Sculpture
Vikingskipshuset
Norway was home of the Vikings. This wonderful museum has a world class collection of the elegant long ships of the Viking Era.
The Kon-Tiki Museum
This museum has detailed displays of the preserved Kon-Tiki and RaII crafts used by the famous explorer Thor Heyerdahl. He is best known for his Kon-Tiki Expedition in which he sailed 101 days and 4,300 miles using the hand made primitive raft (called the Kon-Tiki) from South America to the Tuamotu Islands. This was done to show that it was possible contact between South America and Polynesia. Thor Heyerdahl’s book: Kon-Tiki (it is a great read!) recounts there events of his trip. This is one of my favorite museums because it recounts the incredible adventures of a great explorer.
Oslo City Ski Jump
Norway is world famous for its skiing and this ski jump overlooks the city. The view from the top is stunning.

There are many other wonderful things to see and do in Oslo Norway. I highly recommend it!
