Tennessee National Parks
There are two Tennessee National Parks to visit on vacation.
See diverse plant and wildlife in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park or see preserved battlefields from the civil war in Shiloh National Military Park. Great Smoky Mountains National Park Located in eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina this park is known worldwide for its diverse plant and animal life. There is a beauty to this area where there are remnants of a pioneer culture. There is car touring, bike riding, fishing, hiking, horse back riding, swimming, tubing and more.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park1 - NPS Picture Shiloh National Military Park Located in southwest Tennessee this is the location of the largest Civil War campaign for military control of the lower Mississippi and possession of the western railroads of the Confederacy. There are 4,000 acres of preserved battlefields. There are monuments, cannons and more to see. There are car and bike tours, hiking, watching films and more.
