Grand Canyon National Park - NPS Picture

There are three National Parks in Arizona. From beautiful vistas to fossilized trees to giant Saguaros the beauty and majesty of the desert is evident in these parks.

Grand Canyon National Park- Located in Northwestern Arizona this breathtaking National park spectacle is worth the trip. • Petrified Forest National Park - Located in Northeastern Arizona this park boasts fallen and fossilized trees.

Saguaro National Park - Located in Southeastern Arizona this park has one of the densest areas of Saguaros cactus in the Sonoran desert.

Sedona
This desert paradise has some of most fantastic scenery in the world. It is frequently called “Red Rock Country.”

There are plenty of things to do if you enjoy arts and culture, outdoor sports, learning about history and archaeology or delving into the spiritual and metaphysical.

Lake Powell/Glen Canyon National Recreation Area
Glen Canyon is the home of Lake Powell (the second largest man made lake --lake Mead is the largest) in the United States. Lake Powell has around three million visitors annually. Some of the fun activities are: house boating, fishing, swimming, water skiing and more.

Glen Canyon National Recreation Area has many breathtaking desert landscapes, historic features and clear blue waters. There are red sandstone rocks, little or no vegetation and steep canyons. The clear blue waters are in stark contrast with the rugged southwest landscape that draws steadily growing tourists.
