South Beach
South Beach is one of the most prosperous and wealthy commercial areas in Miami. It is a trendy Art Deco oasis since an influx of fashion industry professionals starting in 1989. Before the TV series Miami Vice it was poor with a high crime rate.

Miami Seaquarium
This is a 38 acre park with killer whales, dolphins, sea lions, sea turtles, manatees, sharks, birds reptiles and more. There are eight different marine animal shows and wonderful daily presentations. The Seaquarium is the longest operating Oceanarium in the United States.

Everglades National Park
Just 35 miles west of Miami The Everglades National Park is the largest subtropical wilderness in the continental United States. It has a great deal of fresh, brackish and salt water areas, open everglades and more. It is the only place on the planet where alligators and crocodiles coexist.

Monkey Jungle
This unique place has the slogan: “Where the humans are caged and the monkeys run wild.” You walk through wire pathways with many different primates play, swing through trees and interact differently than they do in captivity.

The goal of the Miami Children’s Museum is for the educational enrichment and entertainment of all children and more. There are permanent exhibits such as The Sea and Me, Everglades Park, the World Music Studio, All about Art, the Port of Miami and more. There are also many great traveling exhibits.
