The study is the core of the house where Winston Churchill wrote his books and speeches. It is filled with books, photos and paintings of friends, family members and heroes.
The study even has a lectern at which he wrote standing up. There is also a uniform room, Lady Churchill’s bedroom, a Museum Room and more.
The grounds are landscaped magnificently. There is a croquet lawn, a rose garden that was given to Winston and Clementine for their 50th wedding anniversary and much more. See the video below.
There is a large painting studio in which Churchill did many paintings for relaxation. I found this to be extremely fascinating.
